Iman Companion is a free app for prayer times, Quran, duas, and personal worship tracking. We collect only what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.
You can read the Quran, duas, hadith, and stories, see prayer times, and use the Qibla compass without signing in. Your settings (calculation method, time format, last Quran position, tasbih counts) stay on your device in your browser's storage.
When you create an account, we store your name and email from your sign-in (email and password, or Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Apple). If you use these features, we also store:
Only you can see this data. App administrators can access it to fix problems.
With your permission, the app reads your location to calculate prayer times, the Qibla direction, and nearby mosques. Your location is kept on your device. To get prayer times and place names, the app sends your coordinates to the services listed below. We do not store your location on our servers.
If you decline, you can search for a city instead.
If you turn on alerts when the app is closed, your device works out the next two weeks of prayer times itself. We store only that list of alert times and messages, plus the push address your browser gives us, so we can send each alert. We do not store your location for this. Turning alerts off, or deleting your account, removes this record.
Messages you send to Iman Companion AI are processed by a third-party AI model through our hosting provider to generate a reply. Do not share information you would not want processed this way. The AI is not a scholar and can make mistakes.
If you send feedback, we store your message, the app version, your device and browser type, and your email if you choose to give it.
These services may log your IP address when your device contacts them, under their own privacy policies.
In Settings, Delete Account permanently removes your account and everything listed above. This cannot be undone. To clear data kept on your device, sign out and clear this site's data in your browser.
Iman Companion is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. A parent who believes their child created an account can delete it from Settings or contact us.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown in the app.
